So Excited Got My Date!!! - ThinnerTimes

Hello all,
Just wanted to let you all know that i got my date 30th July in Belgium with Dr Dillemans. I am excited, nervous a whole aray of mixed emotions.
The only problem is, i dont have to do pre-op diet which is great or is it? as i feel like i want to eat all the more ............. this is frightening as dont want to put on any more weight before surgery. Any advice?

whooohooo! that is fabulous you know some docs dont do preop diets so maybe your in luck

Congrats Noonie. I am hoping to hear this week or early next on my date. I've been running through my collection of protein drinks and doing one or two liquids for meals per day, just to see what I like and don't like (though it sounds like tastes may change later). Giving the blender a trial run...

It does seen odd not to have any pre op diet at all. What did they say when you asked them?

I'll be tuning in to your posts to see how you're doing. Yea! for you.

THanks for all your congrats....

Hey Brooke,
In Belgium with Dr Dillemans they only advise pre-op diets for people with a BMI greater than 50. Mine is 43 so just under!!!
Good luck with the protein shakes........
