Exclamation Challenge for Gatzby!

Ok Rob,

You and I have both been reading what the post-op folks have been posting about their food. We've both made comments about how much more we're eating than that.

So, here's my challenge. I'm on a low fat diet because of gallstones. What do you say you join me? I'm eating more salads, with low or no fat dressing, more veggies -- raw carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, ya know, the crunchy stuff -- and fruit. I've lost 8 lbs so far. This is since April 8.

I've also way upped my water intake, stopped drinking sodas because the caffeine makes the pain worse, and have taken to drinking green tea -- very watered down.

And as someone here at my job pointed out, I'm getting lots of exercise from running to the bathroom all the time.

A challenge?

*takes off glove* *SLAP*

I do declare I accept, I say, I accept your challenge.

One small request, as the challengee... can we begin this challenge on Saturday? Thats when my weight watcher's and Y memberships become active, so I'd like to start at the same time as my wife (we have a challenge between us too )

And here I thought we were talking about a friendly challenge! Hmph! Since the gloves are off anyway, I'll be ducking for cover and running away.

But I'll still be dieting!

Tricia,

I'm such a sissy I'd run away. However, if you feel like doing a weight loss pool or taking bets on who'll lose more weight. . .

I might have to bet on Rob though.

Muhahahah..... my flock is beginning to gather. Soon we will rule the world! Or at least the local Y.

And how much food could be at your picnic? With your little pouches, one chicken leg and a head of lettuce would feed 523 WLS patients
