I am a good candidate, we all seem to agree... qualified by BMI, and insurance.
I like the Surgeon I saw, and my PCP says he is no cowboy (which is fine with me: *I* will do the cowboying... in about a hundred pounds!

)... just a careful, methodical, experienced surgeon.
So now I wait for the paperwork to catch up with my assignments for the next 4 weeks:
- 1. lose 5-8 lbs
- 2. get a (fasting) blood draw
- 3. Do a sleep apnea test
- 4. consult with their psychiatrist
- 5. meet with their dietitian
- 6. ultrasound my gall bladder*
# 2, 4, 5 and 6 can all happen the same day...
And so the work on # 1 begins in earnest.
Thanks for listening, all.
'Twould appear I might be doing open RNY in August...
