NO DATE but approved!!!

So my insurance company called me yesterday afternoon to tell me sugery is approved! Which is GREAT!!! Then she said, that will be for June 4th... Umm what?

She said.. didn't you know that? I said mmm nope! So I called the doctors office, they said they just gave them a dummy date it could change, they will call me in a few days... ugh..Happy and excited and STRESSED!! and well just a twisted emotional MESS!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH but it will be ok!

Congratulations on getting your date Samaria! I too have been given a temporary date of 6/20 and have to have a sleep study and EKG done before they will give me a definite date.

This waiting is annoying!!!!! Just hang in there.

I finished all of my consults on Monday, and yesterday got an email from my surgeon's office asking me if I could make a 1:15 appointment today for my one-on-one with Dr. Waldrep! My first visit at the bariatric office was on May 1st for the small group 3 hour seminar, so this is happening very quickly! I went to The Avenue and bought a new pair of size 22 capris for the occasion. (hopefully this is the last time I will buy that size!) I'm nervous, but excited. Hope to have surgery the week of June 22nd since school will be out and I won't have to take any time off of work. My only concern is that the office will submit everything to Healthnet and they will deny me and say I have to complete a six month diet or something. Since they approved the initial referral, maybe I'm worrying for nothing. Congrats on your "dummy" date and approval and I hope to join you on the losers bench soon!
