OK, just did a long post and I don't know what happened to it.
Momof 3, sounds like you are doing real good also. That is so cute that your little daughter likes helping you. That makes her feel so special. My kids are grown up and on their own. I will be a grandma for the second time again in July.
I am so dumb with the computer, how do you put your stats in and update them to show on each post?
Hope you both have a good day. Debs

my stats are in my "signature line" which is in your account options.
I dont know what happened - my pouch hasnt balked at ANYTHING so far, but the medicine...till it starts working that is....
but today, I took a SIP of water and it was like *blech* and it did a gurgle burpy thing (all internal)..it HURT. I was like, well I must have taken in too much air. I'll just be more careful next time.
So I've been slowly sipping, no air, nothing stressful....
couple hours later I decided to get another serving of my protein drink...
BAM...*gurgle* *pain*......my little pouch is pissy!!!
now I know where we get our mood swings from..OUR UPPER STOMACH!!
Miss Pouch knows she's in charge now and man, is she a *itch. - moody too. ((kinda like her owner))

Have you had any issues with dairy ? I know alot of WLS patients become lactose intolorent after surgery.

awwww you poor thing.
I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop, for my pouch to all of a sudden not like ANYTHING.
I'm pretty limited to soups, pudding and jello. I added that Velvety Potato in the soup at hand section..it's really good.
I also tried a little grits last night - I know that's next week, but I'm feeling deprived of "real" food...since we were on the liquid for so long.
The pouch was like "huh, whats this???" *gurgle* but then it just accepted the few bites I had...gurgled a lot and settled down. I think the warmth was good for it too.
So far I've been lucky..my only thing is, I cant really tell when I'm full. I measure everything now so I dont go over but I just stop eating. I'm satisified, but I wonder if feeling "full" feels different now?

Yes. I have actually been to the point where I couldn't even think about another sip of liquid or spoon of soup. I feel very bloated and my stomach feels "heavy." It's an uncomfortable feeling - I've even had it from just water - Steve laughs at me. It's amazing, this new tool of ours
