Momof3, Don't be nervous, tomorrow starts a new chapter in your life. One where you will be thin and healthy and you can start enjoying the things you have shied away from because of your weight. I wish mine was tomorrow. I will be looking to you for support and with a million questions. Hang in there and soon you will be on the losers bench with so many great people.

Well, I may have to postpone surgery. My stress test came back abnormal and I have to go for a heart cath tomorrow.

If that goes ok, I can still have surgery Thursday...otherwise, I have to put it off

Would be horrible to go through all of this and then have to postpone and do it all over again. Tell Wagner his liquid diet is what gave you the stress.. heh

Okay, I can hear you cussing at me all the way over here in Temecula, CA but my advise is to BREATHE. I mean, breathe really deep about 5 times (and then SCREAM if needed). It always helps me and my family/friends are always reminding me to do this ('cause I don't need much to put me into Freak Out mode!) I know that sounds completely like some mantra BS, but it works!

I cheated on the pre op diet, everyone cheats on the pre op diet! We are all being told that we won't be able to have this or that or the other food again after the surgery, so we crave those foods until it drives us mad! And 6 pounds? That really is a good amount to lose - every bit helps! It's not like we were all skinny ballerinas when we came to our doctors for help with the surgery - our doctors know how to operate around a liver. They just know that any little bit helps and you are doing your part!

I am 8 days post op now and can't wait to see you on the other side! Hang in there... breathe... breathe...

Well here you are, T MINUS less than 24 hrs. . .

Now..all that emotional freakout, starving tummy, sucky diet and sheer nerves are nearly at an end. SEE...there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! You made it...kicking and screaming...but YOU MADE IT!

Now...breath, relax, take a HOT bath and RELAX. Your journey is about to begin...the prep work always SUCKS, but it's woth it in the end! Promise!!

BTW: I'm a Mom of 3 too...
