6 days and counting down until your surgery. Your doing great, and working thru all the emotions will probably help how you cope after the surgery. I just finished my last tests today and hopefully will be scheduled for the surgery within the next few weeks. My surgeon does not require the liquid diet before surgery which makes me wonder if I should do it on my own. It seems litke most of them require it from reading this forum. Hang in there, you are almost there. Debs

my family all got together yesterday and had a big ol mother's day bbq.. i about cried i wanted one of those bratwurst so much
Sigh.. one more week of tomato soup post-op and i can't wait to taste or chew something different. only 2 more days! woooo hooooooooo. Now though i'm finally starting to get a little nervous mixed in with all the excitement.
Although i did weigh myself yesterday and i'm down 15 lbs in a week and a half, so all is not lost. And yes, i've cheated. I'm not proud.. but i did it. 14 days of clear liquids is just too much to ask of someone... even if you're fat.
Figure i'll probably pack up my overnight bag tomorrow and have everything ready to go. Already made plans for the dog to be boarded at the vet from wed-friday so the hubby won't have to leave me right after i get out of recovery to take care of him. We live about an hour and half from teh hospital and need to leave thursday am at 4 (bleh)

I cheated too..
but I've also lost 15lbs. At least I had before I cheated yesterday.
I've been good today - and I've got the headache to prove it.
Tomorrow and Wednedsay I'll be good, I promise.
I had my stress test today and my venous dopplar last Friday.
I'm ready
my bag is PACKED.
has been for days LOL

You go girl! I wish I was where you're at right now. I still have to go through all the bs and won't have the surgery until the fall probably. We're all rooting for you!
