Great post! I'm married to a CCRN and he hands me my two chewables each morning, LOL.

And never mind the green grass you won't mow, or what it is you have or don't to show, or what it is you can or can't afford...the good are good without reward.

Cost should be a major consideration for those considering the surgery. I was self pay for the surgery 21K. I must say that I have not spent a lot of money on vitamins or protein so far. I am taking a flinstone chewable 2 times a day and B12 liquid twice a day. I may have spent $30 total on vitamins since April when I had the surgery. I've purchased 3 large containers of protein powder at approx. $33 each and that's it. I try to get my protein through food and will occasionally supplement with a shake. I have wasted some money on the protein vials....they are nasty ans sitting in my pantry probably never to be consumed! I am spending more money on water as I was never really a water drinker before. Besides the cost of the surgery I really can't complain about my monthly costs...so far.
