i can say that last night and so far today it's been a lot easier with the tomato soup. It seems to be a little more filling and i like the taste a WHOLE lot more than broth

Crie and I have the same surgeon..we are are this SAME starvation diet.

I swear, we are getting NO nutrition. He clearly said "Little to NO calories"..

I have "cheated" but I have had things that were packed with NUTRIENTS and I only had a small amount of it. I havent had a huge amount of anything.

Till this morning. I cracked and had a grilled chicken sandwich.

But honestly, I can think clearly at work, I am more energetic and I am moving more.

I wont eat again today, other than broth or jello, but I HAD to have something on my stomach.

I cant keep doing the sugar in the juice b/c of my diabetes.

but man is it good. I just take small drinks and let it sit in my mouth.

And again, we CANNOT Have protein supplements.

Basically, yes, we are staving ourselves till surgery.

I bought Healthy Choice soup, you know that individual serving in the microwaveable bowl...

I got the Mexican chicken tortillia or something like that...I strained out ALL the "stuff" and drank the juice.

I admit, I've been adding about 5 or 6 half dollar size Orville Redenbacker popcorn cakes that have the same nut value as the jello...I eat them on the side SLOWLY to have the sensation of eating something. And they are really good.

I know I've lost weight, I can tell it.

But I cant take this being hungry and weak. I tried to go to Wal Mart last night and couldnt function very long b/c I had NO strength.

ordered and received a scale (first time i've ever had one of "those things" in my house) yesterday. Couldn't resist and i've lost 10 pounds in the 6 days of dieting so far. and i weighed when i got home from work, not on an empty stomach.

so its working... even with a lil cheat here and there when i absolutely can't take it anymore. but seriously.. if you like tomato.. lol i may be able to do this.

of course.. the girl at the store last night thought i was nuts buying 20 bucks worth of tomato soup
