I live on ice, of any kind or shape. I have to buy bags of the stuff cause I can't keep up!

I do much better drinking ice cold drinks ... weird.
My pouch aches badly - like a toothache. A mouthful of warm liquid will relieve it instantly.

I even have to leave out my yogurt etc. so that the chill is taken off of it.

It's going to be hard in the summer. I used to live on icewater and tea and melon straight from the fridge.

Wow. I'm sorry to hear this. We all have to deal with so many changes as we go along after surgery. But that just sounds terrible.

Here's a thought. Instead of waiting for the ice to melt, try this.
Fill a measuring cup with the ice you use. Then take another measuring cup full of water. Pour the water into the cup of ice until it's full. Subtract the ounces of water added to the ice. Now you know exactly what a cup of ice amounts to.
