Two weeks of clear liquids? No protien? That sounds a little excessive. Normally it's 1 to 2 weeks of full liquids pre-op and clear liquids 24 hours before surgery. Just sayin'.

2 weeks of clear liquids is what my surgeon said i needed to do... so that's what I gotta do.

I will say i cheated last night and then felt extremely guilty. And it wasn't even a GOOD cheat.. i had one SF pudding cup

This is going to be a long 2 weeks

OMG I had one of those too!! I had a SF pudding cup for breakfast this morning.

I'm confused..we arent supposed to have dairy products b/c of the calories but if we have the broth out of soup, it has calories...

Default Day 2

ok, Day 2..

not so bad really. I've held off the headache from not eating. I guess that's b/c I had the starbucks skinny latte which had dairy in it.....that I wasnt supposed to have..

but I'm doing ok with the jello.

I'm not craving food, commercials dont bother me and the smell is actually gross. (So far)

BUT..

has anyone dreamed of making a meatloaf a no calorie, sugar free, fat free liquid?

*sigh*

i'm still having a rough time with day 2.

I think i found that i don't tollerate saccharin well I feel sick from all the SF jello and the popsicles made me feel like i had sores inside my lips. Not normal..

the broths so far that i've tried have been incredibly salty and hard to swallow. I'm hungry and cranky and just drinking water at this point. Will try to make my own soup this weekend and strain off the veggies and beef

I'm not having a hard time, so far. I like the jello. It takes the edge off that's for sure.

I've been drinking coffee so that's keeping the headache at bay.

I dont care for the salty broth either, I diluted mine some. But I also got the soup at hand and strained out the stuff. It wasnt as bad. The hotter the better, it's not thick.

I havent had the popcicles yet.
