Waiting for Insurance Approval...ripping my hair out! - ThinnerTimes

Hi all...I've been lurking around here for a while but I thought I'd jump in and say Hi.

HI

I have submitted all my paperwork/test etc. and finished dictation 3 weeks ago. Of course, it just got sent to the insurance company today for approval. I had to bug those poor girls at the office to get things straightened out and get it faxed. I feel so annoying!

I am going crazy! I can't wait! It's getting so close...yet it seems so far away!!

You guys all seem so supportive of each other and I know the key to success with this surgery is supprt...so yeah....HELP!!!

First of all.. take a deep breath!! in and out.. in and out.. good .. now lets talk about this whole dictation and stuff..

OMG You're out of the pile.. you're sent to Insurance.. I'm FREAKING FOR YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!! I got sent to Insurance on a Tuesday also.. and guess what?? On Thursday I got the call.. THE CALL!!! The next day.. Friday I was in my pre-op and had surgery the following week.. a week from the day I got sent to Insurance.. how cool is that?? sooooo I am serious it could really not hurt to breathe right now.

This is such an exciting time for you.. good luck to you and my fingers and toes are crossed (and my legs now too.. woo hooo) for a quick approval.. YAY!!!

Let us know when you know anything..

Sometimes they need a good kick in the pants to get things straight. They lost my bloodwork 4 times until finally my dr.'s office made them stay on the phone while she faxed it over so they could confirm they got it. I figure my lost tests are sitting in other people's files. Thank God Alicia isn't there anymore.

Steph we have all been where you are sitting and are still sitting. It will all fall into place. I guess you have to look at it like you have done so much already.. the worst part is waiting

I'm right there w/ya .. . . My stuff was faxed out Apr. 11 and I still haven't heard anything. I called yesterday bugging them and they say it could be another 10 days to two weeks before they do . . . I am having a hard time concentrating on anything! I just wish I knew . . I'm so nervous that I am going to be denied . . I WANT A DATE TO LOOK FORWARD TO!

You sent your paper work in to Dr. Callerys and Dr. Potts office? Sometimes awaiting insurance approval takes a lil while longer. I know it is beyound frustrating. The wait is horrible. Stay as busy as you can. I know it won't clear it from your mind but it will keep you a little off edge. I was such a nervouse wreak on Valentines Day I would allow my boyfriend to come see me or talk to me on the phone because I was so stressed out with my insurance company.. the sexy man drove 45 minutes from where he lives and just popped up at my house and held me(I love that sexy man)
