It went really well. I was shocked to learn that somehow on my own i lost 8 lbs in the last month.
We discussed the surgery I wanted to go with. I'm going to first try for the Verticle Sleeve. Just because she said the more people who push for this, in the long wrong will get the insurance companies looking more into it. But She said most likely we wont get approved for that. Which is fine. So I'm going to do the Duodenal Switch. She said Because my BMI was 54, she said no to the Lap Band. She said that even GP would be a slower wieght loss. So the DS would give me much more of what im looking for.
So now i have to get all the tests done. And im staring at the Specimen Cup for my sample. And I'm so not looking foward to "poop" in this cup haha. My Visit with the Surgeon is June 29th. She said my insurance will approve me for the DS or GP. That my insurance is a really good insurance to have. And she's always had approvals by them. So I will still just keep my fingers crossed anyway.
By the way its looking I should have a date for sometime in August/September. I CANNOT WAIT !!!!
