Need an Angel guide????
I was wondering if any pre op peeps would find value in having a service like this.
At one time on obesity help, I dont know if they still do it, they had an angel system in place. If someone was preop, they could ask for an angel. An angel is someone a year out who they buddy up with. The angel is the pre op's guide through the process and offers advice and answers to someone who may not want to pubicly have their concern or fear addressed. The angel is responsible for checking in with this person via phone or in person at the hospital to continue to guide them. Doing the same again when the new loser is at home. Also, the new loser can call the angel ANYTIME day or night if they need advice.
What do you guys think of this idea? If it generates enough interest perhaps John can make an Angel directory. Then those who want to be an angel can list there contact info in the directory and then the newbie can choose who they feel would be the best for them.
What do you pre be's think of this idea?

I will be one year out on May 15 of this year and would enjoy being an angle guide. Friendship make this "wild ride" easier.

Great Idea
I think this is a wonderful idea.
Sometimes as a newbie, there are question you are not ready to post. I am a private person living with the weight problem for so long, and although everyone here has been on this journey, it is still hard to fully trust others about my weight. Having someone personal to confide in, and ask the same questions a few times would be a relief.
