I am excited, scared, nervous, I am everything all wrapped up into one. I know I will be Ok, and I know I will do well. Just so much to get lined up and stuff before surgery ya know? I wish you well with your surgery and wish for a speedy recovery.

Default Dr. Callery

Laura,

I have been doing a lot of reseach and was recently referred to Dr. Callery. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on him. I can't decide which route to take and would love any feedback you might have.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Default Meaghan, Jennifer

Thank You Meaghan, best of luck to you as well!

Jennifer,
I went to a few seminars about 3 years ago when I was first wanting to have GB surgery. I really liked Dr.Wittgrove and Julie Ellner, but opted to not have the surgery at that time. After 3 years, I decided I needed to have this surgery and after doing alot of research on the suregery, I feel very lucky and happy to have such a knowledgable surgeon. He is very thourough (sp?) and dots all his I's and crosses all his T's. He is also a very good friend of mines friend and comes extrememly highly recomended to me. I feel very comfortable with him and have no worries that I am in good hands. It also puts me at ease knowing he has done over 3000 surgeries. If there is anything you want to know in paticular, feel free to message me in private. I hope this helps! Good luck to you in your journey!

Red face I'll come visit you LauraLee

Hi LauraLee,
My husband Bill will be in surgery the day after you. Maybe I'll come and visit you while he's in surgery. It will keep my mind off of things and I can come and walk with you.

Dr. Callery did my surgery and he is awesome. He's doing Bill's as well. You will be in great hands. I love his bedside manner and Kelly is very thoughtful and caring as well.

I do recommend the night you go in, that you accept the sleeping pill the nurse offers you. This way, you can be assured to get the rest you need before surgery. I know that sounds funny since you'll be sleeping during surgery, but trust me, you want to get as much rest as you can get.

Hope to see you soon!

Default Irela

Irela,
I would love to have you come visit. You are welcome to come over anytime you like! It will be great to see you and meet you! I have heard about the sleeping pill, and believe me, I will take your advice. Otherwise I will be worrying all night about my surgery. So it will be nice to be able to sleep.
Look forward to meeting you!
