Sent to Insurance!!! - ThinnerTimes

I am soooooo excited/nervous I called Dr. Pott's office today, Alicia told me that "Dr.Pott's had my chart so he's probably in the process." For some reason I decided to check the web and guess what??? My chart was dictated and faxed over to insurance. Woooo Hoooo...I'm so exited!!! Part of me is nervous because I'm afraid I won't get the approval. Wish me luck.

Congrats.

It looks like you are almost there. How long did you wait for dictation? My chart is with Dr. Callery.

I am so excited for you. I bet you can't stop thinking about it. I know I can't. I am driving my family crazy.

I'm going through Dr. Potts, my chart was in dictation on 6/3. It took longer because he was waiting for another doctor to call him before he could dictate. I was at a meeting a few weeks ago and they said that dictation wasn't taking too long. Before you know it you'll be sent to insurance too

Don't forget to call the office on Wed's, they'll be able to tell you the status of your chart. Good Luck

I am going to call the office Wednesday to see the status of my file. I feel like I am bothering Alicia when I call her because of her tone of voice. Anyone else think this?
Maybe I am being super sensitive. I know she is exremely busy, but I feel like everyone deserves to know what is going on.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you're bothering the office. You're not being sensitive...Alicia is pretty short on the phone, but guess what??? we do have a right to know what the heck is going on with our future. We are told to call on Wed's and they just have to deal with it

You know my chart was sent to my insurance on the 16th. I got a letter from them on the 19th saying it was approved. I'm now just waiting on Dr. Potts office to call me so I can get my date. I can't wait.

That is so cool. Maybe you should call them on Wednesday? Or maybe they will call you before that. I am in dictation with Dr. Callery and I noticed his take longer.
