Hello everyone...I just found this site today and thought I wwould participate. I've been going through the process for about a year now and finally have my surgery date of March 25, 2008. It will be fun tracking our progress for those of us starting around the same time. I'm very excited and very nervous for this new journey.

Welcome! Congratulations on starting this journey, and on getting a surgery date! It's definitely not an easy choice to make to have this surgery, or to jump over all the hoops to get approved, or do all the learning necessary. Very glad you found the group -- I joined about the same point in my journey as you -- about a month before surgery and after a year into the process. I've found this group soooo valuable. Can't imagine where I'd be without these people! Anyway, best of luck to you and I look forward to seeing all your success.

March is a very good month, indeed I had GBS in March 2006, and March 2007 had my hernia repair/tummy tuck. GO MARCH LOSERS!
