I am wondering if anyone knows if the following is accurate - online I am not able to find research that supports this but I've heard it from patients.

1) pancreatitis - that the risk of developing this is magnified - my doctor never mentioned that

2) Visual problems - that blurry vision and visual acuity is compromised by this.

I've not heard of either issues. The one I can think of is gall-stones because of rapid weight loss. But that can be helped by taking a medication for while.

I'll check back and see if any old timers have heard of these issues post surgery.
