Congrats on 27!!! I had mine on March 25 and I'm down 24lbs. For some reason I though it would come off even faster Sooo funny..I am craving salads also!! Before surgery I would have considered it a punishment to have to eat just a salad! And now I WANT one. Crazy. Are you still on mushy food? I made it to only 2 weeks on that and started adding differant things and chewing really good. I have not gotten sick once yet. Do you excersise? I started riding a stationary bike 2 miles a day in addition to a walk. I'm going to take all my measurements next week to see what I'm down for the month and take some more pictures. I have a bad habit of weighing myself every day. I get discouraged when I don't see it go down as fast as I want to. I think with as little as I'm eating...come on! I guess I just like instant gratification...hence that is why I was overweight! Have a great weekend and keep on losing

Sorta of mushy foods...I have been chewing very well. I have just started eating some foos from the next stage. I got sick once because i did not chew well. other than that no problems. I do the bike too, treadmill and sit i. n the sauna. I did a total of 4.5 miles yesterday. I have been going to 24 hour fitness with my hubby, we have gotten closer and I am loving it. I weigh myself every Friday. I thought it would come off faster too, but as long as the numbers dont go up I am okay. I just want a sushimi salad...

Well I had my 30 day appointment with the doc yesterday ... I have lost 35 pounds .. woohoo... I am still having a hard time eating solid foods... I try really hard but it doesnt happen to well... I have thrown up about three times.. Thats pretty nasty but its much easier now that I only have a few ounces to throw up.. I have found I cant do eggs... I am still drinking ... drinking .. and finally getting in the water I need...I get the protien by shakes and other stuff... I guess I was kinda hoping that I would be eating by now... but aww well... I have lost over 30 pounds.. and mentally I am good... so I wont push ... he wants to see me again in 2 months ... how is everyone else..?

Amanda,

What a great start! Have you dropped any clothing sizes? I have found that I'm moving out of clothing much more slowly than I expected. I guess I had stretched out the spandex and elastic in everything!

I am doing well. I am coming up on two months this weekend. I haven't gotten to weigh this week, but my guess is that I'm down 45 pounds. (It was -41 last week.) I've only puked once, so I consider that quite the achievement! Overall, I have felt good.

Janelle
