Ok, you aren't going to be fat forever, this isn't a sign that you shouldn't have the surgery. You got sick...it happens, it happened to me. I was scheduled to have my surgery 01/03/06. On the 2nd I woke up with a sore throat, and a fever of103. I was so sick I could barely even lift my head...Needless to say Dr. Callery cancelled my surgery because he is a responsible surgeon that wants the best for his patients and we rescheduled.

I had the surgery on 01/23/06, just 20 days later and here I am 140lbs lighter. Trust me I know that it's upsetting, I've been there, but it isn't the end of the road, it's just a bump. It will all work out.

There is an angel out there taking care of me and looking over me i truly believe that now a day later and a whole night of coughing and heavy breathing without surgery... i probably would've died or had a very bad consequences little tiny pouch with staples bouncing with every deep cough and a hernia repair in my belly button jumping out of stitch how ridiculous and dumb i could be for getting mad my hubby was so relieved after seeing i did not get it done last night he heard me coughing at night and heard my breathing it is bad and i so regret being upset and thankful to DR Krahn for caring i felt OK yesterday but i sounded horrible in my chest thank you all for hearing my drama and being here for all your support it has helped me so much i love you all thanks

Good grief! I would have been so upset if I would have gotten there and had surgery cancelled. On the other hand, you could have gotten pneumonia or even worse died if you would have had surgery. I'm glad your doc postponed it for you. You need to get better. If your breathing still sounds that bad maybe you need to go to the doctor and get some antibiotics or an inhaler to get you good and cleared up before surgery. That coughing would hurt terribly after surgery. Get better soon!
