Do you have a temp? If so, they may reschedule it for your safety. Be up front with your doc, though...

I have no fever. I am actually feeling better this morning just a slight running nose. I stayed in bed Fri and Sat. Today I am up but I do not plan to leave home; just keeping warm.

Then you should be okay - just be sure to tell your doc about it when you get there so he can decide...
Or perhaps you can call his/her service today - they should be able to page him to have him call you...

Supportive and cheer-filled HUGS!

Rocky and Toony, I'm so excited for you!!!! You will be fine for surgery as long as there is no temp. I'll say a prayer for you both!!! Can't wait to hear all about your experiences. Take special care of yourselves.

Toony ....
My surgery is at 7:30 AM need to be at the hospital at 5:30AM. I just got a call from my anesthesiologist (Dr. Winter) to introduce himself and to remind me my stomach should be empty. Last protein drink was at 5:00pm.
I will try to get some sleep but only about a million things are on my mind right now
Best of luck to you Toony.
