Default only 4 days to go...

Hello all,

I just wanted to say 'ARRARRHDHHHHAHHHRRHHRHRHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!'

Ok, i feel much better now. Its only four days to go to my opperation and i am so excited. After six months of anticipation and nail biting the time is finally here. I'm having the surgery in Belgium so my mother and I are leaving on monday morning, have my pre opps on tuesday and the bypass on wednesday. My tummy does a flip every time i think about it.

I wanted to thank everyone for their messages, emails, phone calls and support. Gwen and Vim, your knowledge and advice has been so helpful, both of you have settled all the fears that i had. Im really looking forward to meeting up with you both at alton towers and all the other skinny minnies in the making.

Watch this space for progress reports, i hope to be back online by wednesday the 6th Feb.

Love to all. Olivia.xx

Hi Gwen,

Did you have a lovely evening? I hope you didnt have too much wine... its not like you can down a pint of water to help with headaches.

I shall let Dr Dillemans know that there are people trying to get hold of him, maybe they should try through the european obesity website. Im not sure if thats the same address or not.

Im actually looking forward to going now, my tummy now does two flips when i think about it instead of just one. I feel like there is so much to do between now and then, washing, packing, sorting out what food to take blah blah blah.

Im off for now but will try to get online tomorrow.xxxx

Lightbulb Water

Talking about water - remember to waterload the evening before surgery - you'll feel much better for doing it

Enjoy Brugge!!!

I can only imagine how excited and nervous you must be! Best wishes for a speedy recovery and congrats on getting your space on the loser's bench! You will be about 35 days ahead of me in this process, so I can't wait to read about your results. Again, congrats!

Thumbs up Here's looking at you kid!

Olivia!
Best wishes to you and plenty of support to your Mother - you will both be fine with the lovely Bruno Dillemans! Do keep a diary - I am 7 weeks post-op and time has flown by! I am thrilled your mother will be part of her daughter's important journey! It helps "bonding" and also puts her in parallel shoes for understanding! I really look forward to hearing from you when you next log on!
As much as you did not appear on the box that evening, we selected our pug puppy in Fareham and will collect him this Sunday! So, Hampshire is a hot word in our household!
Chin up and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Cheers!
Vim
