Talking It's getting closer

Well i called the surgeons office today to find out if they received all my approval letters. She got one that was sent 4 days ago but the one sent two weeks ago still hadnt arrived. i called the office and the secratary said she got it back today with a wrong address on it. Error in the address number. i had her fax the copy and send the letter back out and then called the surgeons office and she said the surgeon would see the paperwork next wednesday and call and make the final appoinment for me to meet with the surgeon and staff, then to the insurance company(UHC so i dont think that will take very long) and then the surgury booking. i was so excited today I havn't slept a wink. lay down 5 or six times(i work the 930pm till 630 am shift) and kept getting back up. I must have played 30 rounds of golf on the XBOX. I am scared to death but excited about finally seeing the wheels turning again and not just spinning. Cant imagine what it will be like in a year or so but can only know it will be better by far. Well I wrote this mostly to vent off steam and to stay awake. it is 2:36 in the am and I still have 3.5 hours to go. Thanks for listening and again , i thank the lord there are caring people on this forum. till later. next update in a few days,

Default Almost there!

I know what you mean, CJ. Waiting and going through the steps to get all of this done seems to take it all out of you! It was the same for me... and now I'm having surgery next week! I wouldn't believe people when they told me it'll be here before you know it, but now that it is, I am a believer!

Hang in there and it'll be here before you know it!

The waiting is the worst. All the feelings you are going thru are totally normal. I was scared, excited, nervous and happy all at once! Keep posting here and we will help you thru this. Best wishes

Default Yay

CJ,

Like Pam said all of these emotions are totally normal right now. All of us had those restless nights/days.. (I worked nights too when I had surgery) and you will have more before the day is here. Just wanted to wish you a big batch of luck for your approval and your surgery..
