Default Daily Supplements??

Hey all!! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

I am trying to get my ducks in a row for surgery. I am hoping to have a date in early April. Anyway, I wanted to start taking my supplements soon. What daily supplements do you all take, and where is the best place to get them? Thanks in advance for the info!!!

The best advice I can give is to talk with your surgeon/NUT about this. The recommendations seem to vary.

My basic list stated:

2 x Centrum Chewable
2 x B12 (sublingual)
3 x Calcium Citrate (Citracal Creamy Chews)

Local Commissary, Walmart, Vitacost.com, drugstore.com Those are my places of choice.

The supplements you need now are different from the ones you'll need post op, due to the malabsorption... My "nut" set me up with chewables: Multi-vitamin, Calcium and Iron... B-12 will be assessed post-op.

It is a good idea to beef up (LOL) on the protein before surgery --- It'll help with the healing, hair loss and overall recovery!

Best wishes!
