My DH FINALLY has his date! - ThinnerTimes

My DH will fianlly be joining me on the losers bench. He decided last year about this time that he wanted surgery as well. (I had mine in Nov.06, but a band) So we called and got him going in the 6m. classes. He finished in OCT. it has been such a struggle to get his date, first the Dr had really long wait to consult, then the phsyc dr too. Then they lost the referral for surgery, and that took a bit to straighten out! Next the cardic clearence had to be done at the hospital, so that was a wait!!!! Then the GP sent cardiac clearence but forgot the paper that says hes cleared! UGH. Every step of the way its been a total exercise in frustration. (Mine was so easy from the end of class to surgery was one month, and I was extreame high risk!!!) But finally he got his last meal last night, (which we didnt know at the time it was!

) and his date is Jan 29!!! Ya know what is scary that is the date I told him it was going to be a month ago?! So yeah I feel like we won the war!!!! Oh and now I am waiting for the Dr office (GP) for the pre op physical because they were booked that day! UGH

Congrats on the date . I too was delayed a bit on getting my surgery. But in the end ( it takes alot for me to say this) The wait is worth the results.
