Default I have a January date

My surgery will be on Jan 28th, 2008. I even got the call for the pre-admission testing on 1/17. Its moving along so quick now.

I am so excited and scared at the same time. - I am very emotional right now.

Good luck to every one else who has upcoming surgery dates - I wish you all the best and much success

Smile January 14

My surgery is scheduled for January 14th. I am getting quite excited. I need to leave my home town to have my surgery and so the arrangements for my stay have kept me busy. Also, fortuneately I work practically till then so keeps my mind busy.

Default I am back

Just got home about an hour ago, wanted to let you guys know I made it through ok. I am actually doing great, no puke, no nothing, I walked a ton at the hospital and they where in shock to see how good I was doing. They said the walking aid to my very quick recovery, ofcourse that still to be seen. I am in blood thinner for a month, pepcid and pain medicine, and drink tons of water as often as I can.

I want all to go well for all too, so keep up the good spirit and best of luck all who still to follow

chiquita

Default Update

Hey everyone. I just wanted to do a quick little update and let you all know that I had surgery on 1/14 and I feel FANTASTIC!!! I cannot believe how little pain I have felt! It has been wonderful. I am a little tired, but its well worth it. I have been able to eat soft foods for dinner only the last two days, and it is going really well. I can barely eat a tablespoon (if even). My protein drinks do not really sit well with me right now, so that stinks, but I just drink what I can...I will get there Today is my second day back at work, and it is going well. Feeling soooo tired, but I know that is to be expected. Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hi to my fellow January sisters and brothers Have a great day!!
