Default Moods

I am finding I am moody, on the edge, easily upset, I guess the diet is making me this way, and still 2 weeks from surgery. Is this going to continue pos-op?
My poor kids, not only that my husband such gosh, better not go there,, he is not helping my mood.

Anyone had trouble with this pre-op diet time?

thanks in advance.

I feel your pain.Every time i start to do really good on this pre op diet i get really really cranky. My dietition says it will only be that way for two or three weeks.I give you alot of credit to sticking to the diet.I have been struggling.

I was a lot more moody pre-op than I am now. I'm 2 weeks post-op and still have moments where I miss food like crazy but I've been a lot less moody. I'm sure they understand you're going through a lot. It won't be that way forever, try not to worry

This is VERY VERY true. I am 9 days post op and I did not believe it when i was told... but there is no hunger... no hunger cues (growling tummy, crankiness, headaches... none for me. I used to have hyperglycemia really bad, but it must have subsided since surgery b/c I no longer have those issues.

Hang in there, it will get better!
