Thumbs up Oklahoma Newbie!
Hi all! I'm new, from Oklahoma... love your message board! You all have helped more than you'll ever know. I am scheduled for surgery 3/30 and can't wait! Dr Gorospe... one of the top 10 bariatric surgeons in the country! I am nervous, but very anxious for the date to get here. I've got some tests between now and then and am ready to go! Cleaning house and making sugar free jello in prep for after surgery!

Thanks for the anonymous help! I'm sure I'll be posting more as time goes by.

Congratulations! You are on your way! One word of advice-Don't worry about the jello so much right now. You have plenty of time and you will never want jello again after you get off it. great to have you here! Best of luck to you and please do let us know how things go for you!

Hey, thats better than the Manamanah song from the Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper commercials. That got in my head so bad that I had to find the original from the Muppets and Download it so I can listen to it every so often.

we were talking about the manamanah song a few weeks ago at work and then that weekend i saw the dr pepper comercials and about laughed myself to death. and we still sing it at work.

Red face New to the block
Hi, My name is Angie and I am new to the block. I have been reading the message boards and have been lifted up many times. I have been battling with my weight all of my life. I in the process of having the GOP surgery. The insurance like most has been the hold up. I should be scheduled for surgery around July 05. I am doing the 6 months of supervised exercise and diet. It seems to be taking forever. I am Sooooooooo ready for this surgery.
