Good luck to you! You're going to be just fine and before you know it, the pounds will have melted off. Get up and walk asap. Don't forget your chapstick and an ipod or something to block out the sounds of "hospital". See you on the other side!!!

4 days left........
well i am 4 days pre-op......xmas is tomorrow.......my kids are with their worthless father....and i'm sittin at my mom's house 500 miles away.....lol, i still need to go shopping for protein, vitamins, and calcium......i still need my first week groceries........so why haven't i done it yet?......i will be driving back to texas the day before my surgery so i can't decide to shop then or now and take it back......this seems so trivial.......i also had my preop at the hospital but i told them i wasn't taking any meds......well i have this slight addiction to nasal spray because my freakin nose like to close up and not let me breathe......my mom gave me some prescription decongestant.....should i have taken that? now i'm worried but i would like to ween myself off the stupid nasal spray before post op...........so many things running in my head.....i think i'm gonna go shopping....arrrgghhh

TxChick1971!
You MUST tell them about your nasal spray - it can make ALL the difference to your anaesthetic. My room mate did not tell her anaesthesiologist and had a hard time post-op with nausea and bleeding as a result...
Hope all goes well though!
