For those of you I have talked to know that my insurance changed the first of the year. With that said, that means I had to get a new referal from my new insurance company. I just got the call that it was approved! YIPPEE! All my testing is 100% completed so hopefully I will go into dictation this week or possibly next. It has been a long year in the works and am so glad it is getting closer! Who could have asked for a better 30th Birthday present then that! (I turned 30 on Thursday the 10th and that was the day it was approved). I am so glad this forum is hear so I can tell someone!!! Thank You!

Congrats on your approval for your consult. You know that the approval for the consult is not approval for surgery.. however, it gives you a darn good shot at it. They usually don't approve the consult unless they plan on approving the surgery. Good luck to you.. let us know how it goes!!! YEA!!! Have you been to the educational seminar yet?

Thank You Christina....I know it is not an approval for surgery but do know it is a good chance I will be approved. I have already seen Kelly, have all my testing as well as have been to all 3 seminars/meetings. So I think I am pretty much done, unless Kelly needs some further tests.

Thanks Kim....Christina I met you at one of the meetings. I am sure you meet alot of people, I was with my Mom, it was back in January and she works for Sharp. We had talked about all that which is why I am telling you this, lol.

I think that's a great sign, to be approved on your birthday! BTW, Happy Belated birthday!

Please don't hate me because I don't remember. I want to remember sooooo bad, I'm getting so old. I want to know your surgery date, so I can try to make it up to you. I'll be there to cheer you on, make sure you're walking, sipping and resting. Besides, we live in the same neck of the woods, we have to take care of each other.

Thank You everyone for all of your well wishes. Thanks Kim! Just be careful, I may take you up on all of your offers! Everyone will know when I get a date! I will be screaming it and telling EVERYONE. But of course, I will let you know. I started this process over a year ago. It has already been a long journey and I am so excited to finally be a looser.
