Default Need to relax!

I thought it would be easier to quit everything at once. No smoking, no sugar, no drinking, no holiday meals, no coffee, and nothing but liguids. I am biting everyones head off. To make it worse I have an employee that is pretending to be ill while I really am and it is a slap in the face. I do not need to point it out, everyone knows and they see it but at the same time I am so frusterated I broke down in tears. I feel like I am snapping at everyone I see.

That is a lot to undertake all at one time, I can understand why you are a little grumpy There are always going to be people out there that are selfish and there isn't anything that we can do about that unfortunately. All you can do is try to keep in mind that you are on a short fuse right now and take a little extra time to breathe a few times before you speak to people about things. It isn't easy, but you can do it!! When you feel like you just can't handle people anymore, take a break, go to the restroom, a short walk outside or just a minute or two to breathe slowly and count to ten.

It helps if there is a person around you that knows what you are doing and can help by being a sounding board or just a hug when you need it.

You can do this!! HUGS

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.

Oh my gosh. I think you are incredibly brave for doing all of that at once. You have every right to be grumpy honey. Just take a deep breath & get up and out of your work area---even if you just go to the restroom. I cried in many a bathroom stall.

thank you all. it is hard but thankfully my boss understands and has wanted me to quit coffee and smoking for a long time. I work for someone that is really a health nut and thankfully really a wonderful man.
