you guys are making me want to start calling and bugging my ins. co... they've had my paperwork since thursday afternoon... I'm trying to be reasonable... but this waiting is hard!!!

Thank you Toony! I'm really excited. I started exercising today to get in shape for my surgery, it finally feels real now.

Toony I am in the same boat as you. My paperwork was mailed out on Oct. 17th. It was sent back last week and now I wait some more.

Thanks for asking. He is sticking with his job at least until I have this surgery. As of Jan. 1st I will be fulltime and will have excellent health ins. Right now he is sticking it out for me. I am calling the ins. again today to find out if they have anymore info. I am so tired of waiting LOL.

I have 3 more nights on my auto c-pap. My pulmonologist wants to make sure I'm titrated correctly. He is the last clearance I need before they schedule my appointment with Dr. Tribble and submit my paperwork. I'm getting impatient already!

Smile Maybe "waiting" is a blessing?
Originally I was bummed when I found out that I couldn't switch insurance plans until July, 08 - the surgery should be covered by the insurance plan - thank you Boeing!

But, I'm glad I have 8+ months to start building a good foundation for lap band surgery. I need more discipline in other areas of my life; like getting up before my kids and making THEM the priority; getting a little exercize wouldn't hurt either.

So now I look at the wait as a blessing not a curse.
