Default I'm Back!!

Well, I'm home. Went in Tues am and now I'm home. I fell pretty good just sore and tired. Those nurse's at the hospital were relentless, "get up it's time to walk" (every 2hours), "wake up it's time to take your vitals", I didn't get any sleep, I probably did it just didn't feel like it. haha I'm home I can sleep. I want want to thank those who sent a kind word of inspiraration. I am now on the other side!!!

Default Sleep, what's that?

My advice is to get up and walk every 2 hours

Okay, only when you're awake. The best thing to do is move around. You're still at risk for blood clots and infection. Activity keeps everything moving around and will help your body heal faster. Walking helps pass any gas and stimulate your bowels to function.

The nurses didn't have to tell me to walk. I was up every 90 minutes doing my walking. I even visited some of the other post-ops. Things will get easier with time and the weight will just melt off. I have lost 104 lbs in 6 1/2 months and I have 68 more to go. this is life changing and a blessing. I now have energy, stamina,no inhalers, lower cholesterol and my heart condition has improved.
