The Bear has a date!!!
It has happened. I was approved this morning. I am currently scheduled for my surgery on October 22! I am so glad to get past the approval process. I feel numb at the moment. I have known all morning, but have been just sitting here in a daze, or maybe that is my allergy meds making me feel this way.
How strange that this is happening. From day one I felt like I was going to be stopped somehow, but it is actually going to happen. It has taken 18 months and two tries.
I am overwhelmed with an incredible number of emotions (Isn't this the part where I go eat something? *grin*).
Okay losers make room for my butt on that bench. I am coming in fast, and you really don't want the bear sitting in your lap.. at least not for like a year.
All the best,
Jeff

Jeff
Congrats on the date. It took me almost that long also plus two appeals so I know how you feel. They called me at work to tell me and I wanted to jump up and down and scream. Of course I couldn't because we are on the 2nd floor people would have thought the building was falling. Your date will be here in no time at all.

Congrats!
Jeff,
Congratulations, now you can start planning how you are going to keep your babies from jumping up on you or sitting on your lap when you get home from the hospital! That was my biggest fear.

Congrats, ya big bear. There are few feelings as nice as something you're working towards finally coming to fruition. I'm getting splinters in my butt from scootin' over on the bench....

Goal! I did it!
110 pounds gone since my RNY
124 total pounds gone forever!
Reached my new goal of 130...and I think I want to stop losing now. "Stop losing now".Wow, I never thought I'd ever say that!
Looks like Donna is right though. My body doesn't seem to be done...

Oh sweetheart - that's wonderful news.
There's plenty of room for you and everyone else on the bench.
