Question What are you eating while trying to get sugery approved?

I know i should be losing weight before surgery. But to tell you the truth i am so confused on what to do. Should i just start an Atkins type diet, since i will be eating a lot of protein anyway? I have dieted so much i dont know what to do. I am gaining weight cuz i am am eating like friggin PIG cuz i am anxious. I need to stop the madness, what do you suggest?

I basically ate like I would after surgery about 3 weeks prior. I had already had my date but it was like a detox kinda thing.

I was also eating like my normal self before surgery, anxious also, so I'm sure I ate more. I had the flu one week prior to my surgery, I lost 5 pounds. I would not recommend this! LOL

I wish I had the magic meal plan, but I don't. Be careful of what you eat the day before. Low fat, light meals the day before. Check with your surgeon to be sure what they want you to eat. I'm wishing you the best of luck!

I would think you would cut down on carbs and sugars. That's what I'd do.
