Default So Mad!!

I went for my 5th PCP visit today and I gained 2 pounds!!! I am so pissed. I am eating right and walking, riding bikes, etc. I have only lost like 8 pounds since this whole diet started. Does anyone know if there is a possibility I will denied by the insurance co. because I can not lose weight prior to surgery?! I have this sick feeling now that I will be denied because I gained weight!! Has anyone gone through this?? I am really frustrated and mad at myself!

what did your PCP say? Advice by the way - drink more water.

All insurance companies are different. Some just want you to try, not even caring if you succeed. Mine didn't. But my surgeon did! Ask your surgeon's office if they have dealt with your ins. company see if they know.

Good luck!!

Thanks for the advise Gina. I am going to call the surgeon's office tomorrow. MY PCP really did not say anything. Just said make sure I am writing all foods in my log.

I didn't lose anything...I actually may have gained. I just complained that I couldn't exercise because of my knees and ankles...I was forgiven by my PCP.
