My hubby and I are meeting with Dr. C Thursday for my first consult. What can I expect to happen at this first appointment, and how quickly does it all happen? Granted, I do realize every case is different for many reasons, i.e., insurance, etc., just curious.

It's been awhile, but if i remember correctly, you'll get weighed...big surprise, have a few vitals taken. They'll give you a binder...a list of labs and other tests to complete, and an outline of how things will go. The binder will have lots of information, and they'll ask that you bring it with you to every meeting, every appointment, and to the hospital. Somehow this appointment makes it all very real...Congrats!
