You need to realize that this is a life choice, something u can't easily take back. You will never eat the same, be able to eat high sugars, you will be cut off, but you will have what food can never bring you, inner happiness.
I like this one I mean you are right. You lose somethings but you gain so much more.

Default Things are gonna be alright

I had my surgery on the 24th and I am here! ! !
I can really feel you partner. I was scared as they get. I was about 550 lbs. at time of surgery and I had a lot of doubt just because of my size, not to mention other co morbids.
I just took the time to talk to my Higher Power and we came to the conclusion that He would take care of me. I was to just relax and cooperate with the doctors and to keep myself calm.
And you know when I thought about it He was right, I don't have any control and if I was ahraid of say not waking me up, He reasurred me that He would see that it was done. ALL WENT WELL
I stayed in the surgical intensive care unit for 4 days which was to my benifit because of all the continuious attention that I received I was discharged from that unit feeling like a new penny. LOL
You will be alright. Just have that talk with YOUR Higher Power
