Default so scared

I'm also getting the pre surgery blues, so your not alone. One day I'm filled with excitment the next I'm crying in fear. My son also said he was worried that I wont come back. That scared me even more.
My pre-op is tommorow and surgery on the 16th. its getting so close too fast. I havent doen half of the things I wanted to ge done before surgery.
What about stairs after surgery. Is there a problem going up stairs the first week. I guess I'm think it might increase risk for hernia.

Breathe girl.

Now.. Slow down a bit and handle on thing at a time. Stairs should be fine. You'll be ok.. Just stay calm.

I know how you feel! Believe me I do. I am hoping to have my surgery before the summer and I am petrified (sp?) I too am scaerd I have NEVER been put under for anything in my life I have no idea what it is like and it is my biggest fear. But the thought of dying a slow death from being morbidly obese is a lot worse in my book. I am trying to learn as much as I can and just prepare myself as much as possible. I think you will be fine! They have come so far with this surgery then in years past.(((((((((hugs))))))

There is nothing you need to do but relax and walk, give it over to the Lord. Don't doubt in the night what he showed you in the light.

Hugs,

Default Stairs

are fine. I had two "C" sections, stairs were much harder with that than with WLS. Pain and recovery time too was less with WLS. You'll be fine.

WOW your c-section pain was worse? Well that makes what to expect a lot easier. I have my section schedualed for the 22nd of this month.

So sorry to bring that upon you just before you have your "C" section. But, for me, it was much easier to recoup from the WLS than the "C" section. I was out of work for 9 weeks "C" section, 3 weeks WLS. I would not recommend going back to work at 3 weeks though. I wish I would have waited one more week.

Best of luck to you.
