Ronette,

I was scared up until they gave me my "happy" shot in pre-op. But seriously, I had a pack with my husband to not let me back out of my decision. Once I had decided I should do this, I didn't want to let me talk myself out of it. My husband has been so supportive, that he was the best ally I could have asked for.

You are soooo welcome! I work on Tuesday nights, I've never even gone to one. Maybe one day.

Ronette-

I was not really scared of the surgery itself until the night before...then i got anxious, and nervous, but when i woke up morning of...i was OK...my real fear came while i was waiting in the prep room...and then very bad when i was laying in the OR just waiting fot them to knock me out...at that moment, and that moment only i looked up and seriously asked the guy if i could change my mind with tears streaming down my face...he of course said too late for that and proceeded to gas me...You will do great, and I will be here for you whenever you need me!!

Default Thanks Amanda

I think I am getting better about it. My mind right now is so preoccupied with making sure I have the right food and drinks around the house. Plus learning to read the labels and making sure I will be able to get in my protein, keeps me busy.

It is amazing this whole process. You are really being "re-born" and learning new skills.
