Default Finally got my new surgery date...one year later!

Some of you have already read my moans and groans about having my surgery date postponed last year April due to insurance gliches...well I'm finally back on track and have a date set for May 31st! Six weeks away but it'll go by fast and I'm so excited! YeeHaw! I figure I've been working on this since late 2004 so what's a couple more weeks!

Just in time too 'cause my back (deteriorating discs and rhumatoid arthritis) is really giving out...along with knees etc! Losing weight will really help take the pressure off!

So now I feel like I can put down all my dismal stats for all to see! But as of June 1st they won't seem so dismal anymore 'cause I'll be on the losing side!

Current weight...337 lbs
Goal weight....let's just get this show on the road first!
BMI...52

Dr. Flum
Univ of Washington (UW) Hospital in Seattle
Surgery Date...May 31st

I also have deteriorating discs have had surgery and metal put in as I had lost bladder control due to nerve damage. All better now and with my weight loss so far the pain is half or less then it was. Also knees and ankles are not hurting now. So you do have this to look forward to.

God bless you. Big congrats on your re-birthdate. I know what you are talking about. It feels just like yesterday when i was crying from the pain of my knees and back. I thank God for this tool, it has been a true blessing to me. I am so excited for you, can't wait to hear your progress post-op.
