Leesa, I haven't said much but I've been watching your journey and then your countdown from the beginning and I am SO excited for you! And Jen, and Patrick... everyone who's still going through the approval process and waiting for the OK--and you've made it that far and beyond. You're almost there and you'll be FINE, and on your way to that goal weight you've always wished for!

You're gonna have to have someone you can talk to from the hospital, 'cause EVERYONE here will hardly be able to wait to hear how you sailed through it.

Better safe than sorry right? You are going to do fine.. Who is posting for you while you are in the hospital? You have to have a forum buddy..

You WILL wake up, safe, sound, and on the losing side... now.. Here are my orders... DONT get yourself worked into heart issues over the weekend.. do something you usually dont to take your mind off the surgery for at least a little while! Oh.. and when I get to this stage.. remind me I said that ok?

Jen, Please don't tell her to do something she usually wouldn't. You guys think I'm crazy, but she is in the backround just pushing me along to do some of this stuff, you guys have no idea what this girl is like!!

Hi Leesa,
You will have my prayers as well! After doing all the appointments, tests etc., I got scared as well. Everything was done and the surgery was going to happen. I had cardiac issues as well and my cardiologist was dead set against the surgery but had to sign off on it because I was OK (after a second nuclear stress test in 14 months). Ironically the anesthesiologist trained with him. They will be prepared for any complication in the OR-Remember they do this all the time! And with all our prayers lifting you up, you will do just fine!

Default Got it!

Got Leesa's cell, so I'll call early afternoon if I haven't heard from her hubby already. Oh, and Leesa, I don't tell people this very often, but because my surgery was scheduled for noon, and I had to be there at 5:30 in the morning, I had nearly six hours to wait. My husband went off to grab some breakfast while I was still in in-processing, and they took me straight from there to pre-op.

I didn't have the chance to even say goodbye to my husband, and I got utterly hysterical--and I know you don't know me, but I'm not exactly a hysterical kind of girl. They had to sedate me just to get me through to the operating room. Here's a lesson for anybody who has the opportunity--even if it means postponing your surgery for a couple days or a week, try to be the first one on the schedule!

Awwwww, Leesa! <<<<<<<<Hugs!>>>>>>>You'll be fine, I'm sure of it! As a matter of fact, you've got a schedule to keep, people to cheer on: Jen, Patrick, John's IronMan competition, and all the others, my wedding pictures too! The weekend will fly by,and you'll be going through your checklist: chapstick, pillow, loose pants, etc. I have already polished your spot on the losers bench to a high gloss!
