Bridget, thank you for this great post! I am still pre-op (practicing patience in waiting for my psych eval, which has been rescheduled twice by the doctor) but the reminders will serve me well when I finally get to sit on the Losers' Bench

Do they really suggest not lifting anything heavy for a full 3 months after? Even with Lap-surgery?

It was 6 weeks for me. I wouldn't have went and lifted 50 lbs the day after my 6 weeks was up though.
