Thumbs up Just got back from My day at Pre OP testing

The testing went very well. I was impressed with all of the ?'s( Good Medical History and Medication review). The day was rather complete. I had--Basic Physical-- urine test--- CBC and Chem -7 and pro-time all blood tests---EKG (I should have shaved my chest first)---chest X-Ray--

The day went by fast and all of the folks were very nice. It was a good experience.

This was all done at the Hyland Hospital Branch of Strong Memorial Hospital. Tied directly to the Bariatric center located in Hyland Hospital.

I am very pleased with this clinic.

Dave it gets easier at least for me it did I wasn't even really hungry after surgery. I had what I call the Phantom Hunger pains but they passed over time Beware of the day after when they give you the chaulky stuff to check for leaks that was the worst part of having the surgery let us know how you are

Default I didn't shave my chest either!

Glad it went well! Being comfortable with them has got to make a difference! But you know, no one wants an xray. Oh, and I'm going through the "last supper" syndrome- it's curbed, but not eliminated. (See, there's this bag of dark chocolate....see?) Me- just clear liquids the day before, super doses of antibiotics the day before, and the Roto-Rooter drink in the evening. I'm having open. Can I take my cell phone? My DiscMan? (I'm not cool enough for an mp3 or ipod)

Pre IPOD I took my disc man. I took short stories on disc at the time. I always have my cell phone sometimes they would say NO sometimes they just would not work in my room. On my walks during recovery I would endup in a place with reception.
