Whatever you do, don't stock up! You will just be left with a bunch of stuff you won't use.

My first week home I used 1 can of Chicken Broth (I had to stop drinking it 1/2 way through the first week because the smell all of a sudden started grossing me out)
Sugar Free Jello Snack packs (delicious!). I went through 2 of the 4 pack snack pack holders
Sugar Free Popsicles- 1 box...these are the best thing ever
I couldn't do any sort of liquid or runny dairy products until close to 6 months out. (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese all made me dump)
Also couldn't handle protein supplements...they made me sick to my stomach and the smell icked me out.
Once I started soft foods it got muched better. Chili and soups, mashed potatos were all my friend
