Default My paperwork is being submitted

It was the fastest appointment ever. My patient advocate is going to turn my paperwork into the insurance, but says Great-West (my insurance company) is really cracking down on having a physician supervised 6month diet & exercise plan which I don’t have. Hopefully with all of my other co-mobidities including the 14 page sleep study I just added will count for more than that program. She said we have a pretty good case and lots of documentation so I can only keep my fingers crossed. I have a surgical consultation the day after Christmas at 12:30. I guess now we wait. The unfortunate thing, is that she couldn’t even give me a time frame for when I’d hear back. She said they’re so finicky that sometimes it’s 24 hours and other times it’s 12 weeks, it just depends. So keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Don't they just have 30 days to respond or is that just a BC/BS thing?

Hope all goes well and you hear soon.

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.

I hope you hear something back soon. Don't be too stressed out while you wait. This can be the most stressful part of the journey. Hang in there.
