Red face Got MY Surgery Date!

Due to the fact that I have a great training opportunity at work in January, I asked for a December surgery date if at all possible. I provided the appropriate paperwork from work to backup my request; and guess what?
I'm having my surgery December 27th. My pre-op appointment is December 16th. I'm so happy to have both the training opportunity at work and also the surgery date. I just hope I haven't gained any weight since my first weigh in. As part of therapy, I'm not suppose to weight myself and eat only when I'm hungry...so I haven't weighed myself.

Default Mee tooo!!!

Hi Stella,
I have my surgery date for 12-27 also. And my pre-op is 12-16 @ 3:30 How about you? It looks like we are going to be in the same boat at the same time. I would love to know more about you. I am a little concerned about having surgery 2 days after Christmas. How do you feel about it?

Rain,
I feel great about the date. Just think we'll start the new year off right.

My pre-op appointment is at @ 2PM on the 16th, maybe we'll meet each other. I'm not sure who is doing the surgery, but I waited until the 27th so that I could have lap.

Can someone let me know if I'll be ok at home alone after I get home from the hospital. My girlfriend will be able to visit me at lunchtime and afterwork, but the remainder of the day I'll be on my own.

Thanks.
