Twas The Night Before.....
Gastric Bypass and I think I'm going to lose it. I keep looking at the clock and counting down. I have to be there at 5:30 a.m. and my heart is jumping around, I'm getting a headache and just feeling freaky. I know probably normal. I guess it just feels better to verbalize you know. I read all things with the tips and tricks you all pass on to each other and it makes me feel like I'm not alone. I'll <see> you all in a few days.

Like I have shared with others, try and stay awake for as long as you can. Be nice and sleepy the time you get to the hospital that way you will be to tired to be stressed out or worried. Well it worked for me. Do you have a good book you can read? That will help the time pass. Best of wishes to you tomorrow.

We can all relate
Your feelings are normal. On my day of surgery, once I got to the hospital, things seemed to become more calm. We will be waiting for you on the losing side.

Yep, totally normal feelings. I hardly slept at all the night before but I calmed down alot the next day once I got to the hospital and things progressed. They didn't give me too much time to lay and think, thank goodness!
We'll be waiting for you. Let us know how everything went when you feel well enough to get online.

I'm with you 1000% so at least we can know that if these feelings of freak out arent normal... that theres another freak in the world!
You and me, you and me 8^)
I'll be thinking of you going through the same thing at pretty much the same time, so in many ways we arent alone.
I look forward to seeing you online later, and we can both bitch about the stuff than needs bitching, and rejoice about the stuff that needs rejoicing!
See you on the flip side!

Funny...I was a cool as a cuc. until they began wheeling me into the operating room. It was all a culmination of the struggles I had to go through, hoops I had to jump and new life that I was about to begin. I was in the wheelchair and water was pouring out my eyes... I tried to wipe them away quickly but it was really hard to control. Needless to say I was happy to be anesthetized. Just think of the new healthy happier life you'll be starting!
