Default Time to stop lurking!

Hi everyone, I thought it was time to introduce myself and say hello. I have been reading here for well over a year, so I think it's about time!

My name is Emmy and I had my consult with Dr. Callery yesterday. My husband Mike had the surgery with Dr. Callery in March and has lost 153 lbs! I am amazed at how different his outlook is on life and I want what he has!

I only need a couple of more tests and I will be in dictation. I have been very lucky with my timing, I called to make an appointment for my psych eval today and they said they had a cancellation for 2pm TODAY if I could make it. Needless to say, I made it! heheh

I would like to thank all of you for all the info I have absorbed through you since November of last year. You have been an endless supply of info, heart and encouragement, even when I was only lurking. Thanks!

Nice to meet you, thanks for coming forward. I think it is the best thing to do since everyone is in the same boat, at least for the most part. Congrats. on your fast process...maybe we will be pod partners. I am attending the class on Tuesday evening that is a requirement prior to having surgery, then the next class on 1/8 (I think).

Emmy,
Hi! Congrats on grabbing that cancellation!!! Nice timing!!! We are about on the same timeline. I have my psyc eval on Friday. I would like to join Kelly in saying maybe we will all be pod partners. Wouldn't that be something!! I got my classes out of the way already, so I won't be meeting you gals there. Both of you make sure to keep in touch. How fun it will be to share our experiences!!!
