Question Did anyone use Healthnet

Hey there,

I have my first appointment with the surgeon on Nov 13th. So far everything has been smoothe sailing. The further along I get with the process though, the more nervous I feel about my insurance. I have Healthnet. I'm so afraid that I've gone through all of this only to be denied the surgery itself.

Any feedback?

I have Health Net PPO. I was approved within a few days with no problems
whatsoever!

I hope your process is as smooth as mine was!

I also have Healthnet PPO. The only bump in the road was about a month after my chart was sent in Healthnet decided that they wanted me to go to see a nutritionist and it took a while to get an appointment with her (healthnet only covered 1 nutritionist in my area). Anyways, the nutrtionist was very nice and wrote a letter saying that the surgery was a good option for me. After they received that I was approved in about 2 days.
Good Luck!

I have Health Net HMO, and had to do a 6m. diet supervised classes. But other then that everything else has been a breeze, as far as the insurance goes.
